Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Degree preferred; HND/HNC acceptable with relevant experience).
  • High competence in mechanical design, CAD (AutoCAD), and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of automation equipment and safety standards.
  • Experience applying CE/UKCA marks to capital equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Project Engineering team.
  • Ensure engineering elements meet time, budget, and quality targets.
  • Oversee design documentation and compliance with CE/UKCA standards.
  • Conduct and review critical design calculations.
  • Collaborate with Controls, Procurement, Installations, and Project Management teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and team capability.
