Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineering Manager to join the PPP Team based in our client's office in Birchwood. This is a unique fast-paced environment delivering first of a kind projects. The role offers opportunity to guide and grow the team with career development opportunities. The Senior Project Engineering Manager will be accountable for the delivery of a major project(s) within the PPP portfolio. Projects span all phases of the lifecycle from studies through to construction. You will lead a team of multidiscipline designers, engineers, and engineering managers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary designers, engineers, and engineering managers to deliver major projects within the PPP portfolio across all lifecycle phases from studies through construction.
  • Experience of major engineering delivery on EPC projects.
  • Producing and implementing engineering project execution plans.
  • Ability to build a diverse team that attracts technical and delivery excellence and support recruitment, retention, competency arrangements and training.
  • Managing cost and schedule performance of large design teams.
Qualifications
  • Chartered Engineer (or equivalent).
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of the Nuclear Industry, Regulatory Framework and Safety requirements.
  • Proactive with a drive for delivery and an ability to bring stakeholders together around a common vision and deliver it.
