Project Engineer - Welding & Fabrication

Location: Coventry (commutable within 25 miles)

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

We\'re a well-established and growing precision engineering business, supplying a wide range of customers with high-quality fabricated and welded solutions. You\'ll join a skilled team, working on varied projects for demanding clients, where quality, delivery, and customer service are paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Taking full ownership of allocated engineering and fabrication projects from handover through to delivery
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers, attending meetings and site visits where needed
  • Coordinating with production supervisors and shop floor teams to ensure welding, fabrication, and assembly run smoothly
  • Reviewing engineering drawings and providing technical support to ensure projects are delivered right first time
  • Managing timelines, budgets, and resources to keep projects on track

  • Proven background in welding and fabrication - this is a must-have
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Confident communicator with strong customer-facing skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects under pressure
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
