Are you a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable projects in the Water Sector?

As a Project Engineer, you'll be instrumental in the planning, design, and delivery of crucial water treatment and network projects. You'll ensure every project adheres to environmental regulations and exceeds client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital projects that impact communities.

Your role will involve the following:-

  • Design Development: Create innovative designs for network infrastructure, pumping stations, and groundwater abstraction sites.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies, site assessments, Multi-Criteria Assessments, and technical evaluations. You'll also be responsible for compiling specifications and tender documents.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare all necessary planning application documents.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams, including our internal environmental and technical experts, clients, and contractors.
  • Project Leadership: Manage the preparation of drawings and other project inputs, providing essential technical guidance and support throughout the entire project lifecycle.
ABOUT YOU
  • Education: A relevant Level 8 minimum third-level degree in engineering.
  • Experience: Strong post-qualification experience, ideally within water sector design.
  • Technical Expertise: Excellent professional and technical knowledge and skills in water networks.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Team Player: The ability to work both independently and as a valued member of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Problem Solver: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to manage deadlines effectively and juggle multiple tasks with precision.
  • Software Proficiency: Competence in industry-standard software relevant to water network design.
