Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Project Engineer in the UK to take ownership of projects from concept to completion within the water, utilities, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

You will coordinate design activities, monitor progress, manage risks, support procurement, oversee site activities and commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering projects in water/utilities/infrastructure sectors.
• Ability to manage programmes, budgets, risks and deliverables.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design activities and monitor progress across the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage risks; support procurement and site activities.
• Oversee commissioning and handover; ensure regulatory compliance and quality.
• Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and internal design/construction teams.
