Job Description:

Ryan Hanley, now part of Stantec, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with experience in wastewater design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the planning, design and delivery of wastewater treatment/network projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing designs for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations and network infrastructure.

Preparation of feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations.

Compilation of specifications and tender documents.

Preparation of planning application documents.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including clients and contractors.

Manage others in the preparation of drawings and other inputs.

Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements:

Relevant third level degree in engineering (Level 8 minimum).

Ideally 5 years’ post qualification experience with a minimum 3 years’ experience in wastewater design.

Possess excellent professional/technical knowledge and skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage deadlines and effectively handle multiple tasks.

Proficiency in industry-standard software.
