Project Engineer - Simulation + Validations

We are seeking an experienced Engineer with expertise in Moldex3D simulation (or equivalent) to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will lead initiatives to optimize mould designs and processes using advanced simulation software. This role offers an opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and project management skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Moldex3D Simulation Leadership: Conduct and manage complex moulding simulations, interpret results, and drive design improvements.
  2. Technical Project Leadership: Manage multiple projects, set timelines, allocate resources, and ensure quality and deadlines.
  3. Mould Design for Manufacture (DFM): Lead DFM processes, collaborate with teams, and recommend mould optimizations.
  4. Technical Part Analysis: Analyze parts, suggest design modifications, and present findings.
  5. Mould Validation & Qualification: Lead validation processes from design to qualification, ensuring standards are met.
  6. Process Validation & Optimization: Validate moulding processes using simulation and empirical data.
  7. Material Analysis & Selection: Work with specialists to select optimal materials based on technical analysis.
  8. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and external vendors.
  9. Technical Mentorship: Guide junior team members in simulation techniques and project management.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • 3-5 years in injection moulding or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Moldex3D or similar software.
  • Knowledge of polymer materials and manufacturing principles.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with CAD and GD&T principles.
