Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Project Engineer - Seats to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our expansion and work directly with key customers. The position is based on customer site.
Key Responsibilities: This will help you grow
- Serve as the primary interface between EDAG and customer(s) for Seating, interacting professionally on-site
- Coordinate with local and EDAG Group technical design/engineering teams to meet project goals
- Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation
- Manage customer’s part release system
- Collaborate with seating suppliers and support vehicle development milestones and build events
- Track data maturity, status, and record issues
- Monitor seating targets including function, timing, performance, cost, weight, and quality
- Coordinate cross-functional reviews to resolve technical issues
- Support prototype, pre-production, and production vehicle builds
- Act as the interface for all program team functions
- Represent EDAG professionally while working directly with customers

Requirements
- Strong experience in Seating design and engineering
- Bachelor’s degree required; Chartered status preferred
- Relevant professional experience
- Ability to overcome cultural barriers
- Effective and calm under pressure, managing time under tight deadlines
- Ability to analyze vehicle/system attributes and targets
- Experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept Creation, and Seat Part Assembly Processes
- Capability to perform complete Seat Packaging Studies
- Experience with FMEA and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred)
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
