ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Project Engineer, you will support the project manager with tasks such as quality control, temporary works, health & safety, design, and supervising the engineering team. You may also take the lead, overseeing individual RC frame packages and reporting to the onsite Project Manager. There are opportunities for progression to Project Management within 1-2 years for candidates demonstrating drive, organization, and technical ability.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be degree qualified in civil engineering with at least 3 years of post-graduate experience, preferably with RC frame and groundwork subcontractors. Experience with rival contractors is desirable. Projects are based in Barking, Wandsworth, and around London, with package values between £15m and £45m, including slip-form cores and multi-storey reinforced concrete frames. Candidates should be based in or near London due to workload and travel considerations.

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

The role offers daily rates from £330 to £360, with consideration for CIS, PAYE, or self-employed statuses.
