An established industry player is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support project management and oversee engineering tasks. ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Engineer, you will support the project manager with tasks including quality control, temporary works, health & safety, design, and supervising the engineering team. You will also have the opportunity to lead, overseeing individual RC frame packages while reporting to the onsite Project Manager. These roles offer potential for progression to Project Management within 1-2 years, based on drive, organization, and technical ability.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be degree qualified in civil engineering with a strong, stable career, having worked for RC frame and groundwork subcontractors. We seek an experienced Project Engineer with at least 3 years post-graduate experience, preferably currently working with a rival contractor. Initial projects are in Barking and Wandsworth, with others around London. Projects are valued between £15m and £45m and include slip-form cores and multi-storey reinforced concrete frames. Candidates should be based in or near London due to workload and travel considerations.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
Salary ranges from £330 to £360 per day, with options for CIS, PAYE, or self-employed arrangements.
