Salary: £55,689.20 to £64,800
Location: Bicester, Milton Keynes. In office/site 3 days per week. Remainder from home.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the HS2 programme in a client-side role, providing construction assurance on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. Based on the middle 80km stretch of the route, you’ll play a key part in ensuring quality and compliance across major civil engineering works.

As Project Engineer, you’ll work as part of the client’s team alongside engineers and NEC supervisors, making sure works are delivered to the required design and quality standards. This hybrid role blends project engineering with NEC supervision, offering exposure across a wide range of civil assets including overbridges, viaducts, tunnels, earthworks and environmental works.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in major civil construction projects, ideally rail.
  • Broad site-based background in projects such as tunnels, bridges, earthworks, etc.
  • Familiarity with NEC 3/4 contracts (supervisor experience/accreditation desirable).
  • Strong understanding of construction quality and assurance processes.
  • Confident, self-sufficient, comfortable working on site.
  • Full driving license.
  • Client-side experience preferred.
