Project Engineer
Kent (Office-based)
£60,000 + company vehicle + plenty of overtime


Fourblue are with a company who are delivering intelligent high-voltage solutions that power and protect critical infrastructure in the South East. Specialising in end-to-end installation, operation and maintenance. They are now seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV installations across diverse sectors.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage projects from initial design through to commissioning and handover, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities of the Project Engineer:
  • Leading the full project lifecycle for HV installations
  • Preparing technical specs, risk assessments, and method statements
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety, industry standards, and environmental regulations
  • Conducting site inspections, audits, and quality control checks
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and driving solutions
  • Supporting tender prep, cost estimation, and procurement
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and reports
  • Occasionally supporting on-site delivery where qualified
Criteria of the Project Engineering:
  • Solid understanding of LV/HV systems, protection schemes, and switchgear
  • Strong project management skills with experience using relevant tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations including CDM and HSE standards
  • Skilled in preparing RAMS, method statements, and project planning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid driving licence and CSCS/ECS card (or willingness to obtain)
