Job summary

Brimmond Ltd, based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, is recruiting a Project Engineer to support our growing rental fleet. You will manage equipment build and refurbishment projects, including Power Units and handling gear, with responsibility for engineering drawings and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering, completed an apprenticeship, and at least 5 years' experience with back deck machinery, mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Qualifications

• Background in equipment design and production of engineering drawings.
• Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering with an apprenticeship.
• 5+ years experience with back deck machinery.
• Experience with Electric/Diesel/Pneumatic Hydraulic Power Units and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support service, maintenance, modification, mobilisation and demobilisation of offshore equipment.
• Project manage service of equipment including up to 5 yearly overhauls.
• Liaise with clients for technical support during mobilisation and project phases.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Create/modifications designs using Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD.
• Ensure Operations and Maintenance Manuals are current for rental equipment.
• Carry out Factory Acceptance Tests on new equipment and demonstrate to clients.
