Contract Engineering Lead - Hinkley Point C
£60,000-£70,000 | 5 Days on Site | Long-Term Contract
Step into one of the most exciting roles in UK infrastructure today. As Contract Engineering Lead, you'll be right at the heart of Hinkley Point C - the UK's largest and most complex nuclear construction project.
This isn't just another engineering job. You'll be the crucial technical link between manufacturing contractors and on-site delivery, helping bring state-of-the-art nuclear and conventional systems to life. Working from within the Joint Design Office (JDO), you'll collaborate with construction, quality, project management and design teams to keep work moving and problems solved.

What You'll Be Doing
·Lead technical contract meetings and contribute to project planning
·Manage technical issues, ensuring swift resolution and workflow continuity
·Review and approve contractor deliverables and designs
·Oversee engineering evolution - managing design changes and technical scope
·Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams across front and back offices
·Liaise with designers and client teams to ensure system integration and progress tracking
·Support qualification of equipment and ensure timelines are met
·Work with Project Managers on resources, risks, and budgets

What We're Looking For
·A degree (or equivalent experience) in an engineering or scientific discipline
·Confidence applying multi-disciplinary technical expertise to complex designs
·A strong background in mechanical systems, rotating equipment, or steelwork
