A leading construction and regeneration group in the UK seeks a Project/Construction Engineer to develop and implement installation methodologies. The role offers structured training and development opportunities, aiming for professional registration as a Chartered Engineer. You will be encouraged and supported to join a professional engineering institution and be allocated a scheme mentor, if required, to help you in becoming professionally registered with the Engineering Council as a Chartered Engineer in line with The UK Standard for Professional Engineering Competence and Commitment (UK-SPEC).
As a Project/Construction Engineer, your main responsibility will be for the development and implementation of safe and efficient installation methodologies and in ensuring that completed installations meet the defined functionality criteria ready to be commissioned.
You will also support the MEICA scope owner in project engineering and contractor management activities.
You will be aligned to the Engineering Function (MEICA), mobilised as part of a project delivery team with responsibility to support a discipline or scope of work within a multidisciplinary construction project on behalf of the operations/project lead. You will be responsible for delivering the assigned scope through agreed phases of the project life cycle to reach successful completion, delivering work that meets legislative and project requirements in accordance with Morgan Sindall standards all whilst meeting customer satisfaction criteria.
