Project Engineer

Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 + Van and Benefits

Location: Northamptonshire

Type: Full-Time / Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a mechanical focus and construction industry experience to join a well-established and reputable company. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing and maintaining mechanical systems within our client's depot.

YOUR NEW ROLE
  1. Work closely with a team of engineers to develop practical solutions for clients.
  2. Create technical and commercial proposals for clients.
  3. Design engineering solutions in compliance with UK regulations and standards.
  4. Analyse equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  6. Ensure all designs and systems meet UK regulations and industry standards.
  7. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to site-based clients as needed.
ABOUT YOU
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in engineering tools and CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and processes.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of PUWER, Pressure Systems, and LOLER.
  • Experience in the construction sector is advantageous.
