Project Engineer
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000 + Van and Benefits
Location: Northamptonshire
Type: Full-Time / Permanent
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a mechanical focus and construction industry experience to join a well-established and reputable company. The successful candidate will play a vital role in designing and maintaining mechanical systems within our client's depot.
- Work closely with a team of engineers to develop practical solutions for clients.
- Create technical and commercial proposals for clients.
- Design engineering solutions in compliance with UK regulations and standards.
- Analyse equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Ensure all designs and systems meet UK regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to site-based clients as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient in engineering tools and CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and processes.
- Understanding and working knowledge of PUWER, Pressure Systems, and LOLER.
- Experience in the construction sector is advantageous.
