Job summary

Automation Experts in Lanarkshire are seeking a Project Engineer to manage complex engineering projects from design to delivery. You will coordinate activities with customers, suppliers and internal teams across the UK and internationally, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality targets are met.

Experience in engineering environments and familiarity with AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Project, and strong communication skills are essential. The role is based in Lanarkshire with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Plan, schedule and coordinate multiple engineering projects through their life cycle.
• Manage project timelines, budgets and KPIs.
• Coordinate activities from quotation and design through to delivery.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates and reports.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, regulations and performance requirements.
• Maintain accurate project records and quality certifications.
• Identify project risks and corrective actions.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and efficient delivery.
• Travel to customer and supplier sites in the UK and overseas.
