Responsibilities

1. Understanding specialist legislation (standards and regulations) in the Electrical Engineering & Fibre Optic field and developing plans & procedures to achieve and maintain full compliance for the SPIE Wind Connect group.
2. Ensuring adherence to electrical / fibre optic safety and technical standards for the SPIE Wind Connect Group.
3. Implementing engineering standards and best practices for electrical / fibre optic works, meeting industry standards and client requirements.
4. Contributing to improving technical and operational procedures within the group.
5. Providing electrical / fibre optic technical support and guidance, ensuring compliance throughout the business.
6. Operational understanding of all specialist electrical / fibre optic test equipment used within the group.
7. Monitoring, reviewing, and critiquing test equipment for suitability, performance, and reliability; supporting equipment selection and maintenance.
8. Ensuring test equipment is in good working order.
9. Providing specialist training to operational personnel and assisting in developing training courses and testing regimes.
