SABER Technologies is a low-voltage electrical contractor based in Fife, WA, serving the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team!

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer at SABER Technologies plays a critical role in designing, implementing, facilitating, and managing projects. This role requires technical expertise in network infrastructure, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and audio/video systems, as well as strong project management skills to ensure successful execution from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. System Design & Integration: Develop, test, and implement advanced low voltage systems, including IP networking, communications infrastructure, security systems, audio/video systems, and wireless communication.
  2. Project Planning & Coordination: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project budgets, plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  3. Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial efficiency while meeting quality standards.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring goal alignment and expectation management.
  5. Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays, technical setbacks, and financial impacts.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations, local codes, and client-specific requirements.
  7. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate with managers, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors for seamless installation and system integration.
  8. Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track milestones, generate reports, and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  9. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expertise in resolving system issues and optimizing performance pre- and post-installation.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for future process enhancements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking, communications infrastructure, security systems, audio/video systems, wireless communication, and security protocols.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven project management experience with expertise in scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
  • Experience in construction contracting, union labor, government contracting, and utilization of Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
Compensation Range:

$55,000 - $70,000 annually. Final starting pay will vary based on skills, knowledge, education, and experience. Growth in skills and responsibilities will be encouraged, with compensation increasing accordingly.
