Job description

NRL's engineering client is looking to recruit a Project Engineer on a longterm ongoing contract basis.
This role supports the delivery of complex engineering projects in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

To support growth they are looking to recruit a Project Engineer with a proven track record in a Process industry and executing multidisciplined projects from inception through completion, ideally based around process manufacturing, process equipment and containment though not necessarily in a Pharmaceutical environment.

The opportunity will be based at the client site facility on a full time basis in Irvine, Scotland to ensure delivery while working as part of an integrated project team.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating all phases of EPC projects, with direct involvement in technical delivery, scheduling, and contractor management.


What you will need

  • HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation engineering

  • Experience delivering multi-discipline EPC projects in a pharmaceutical or similar regulated setting

  • Strong working knowledge of project controls and scheduling (Primavera P6 preferred)

  • Familiarity with managing external suppliers, contractors, and site-based activities

  • Comfortable representing project teams in client-facing settings
