Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a proactive project deployment professional to coordinate end-to-end installation, validation and go-live activities for quantum computing systems across UK and international sites.

You'll develop project plans, deployment records and enable smooth transition from R&D to commercial data centres, liaising with engineering, procurement and service providers to ensure equipment readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineering or technical projects through structured delivery phases.
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans and deployment documentation.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience working with bills of materials, procurement activities or technical logistics.
• Experience supporting onsite installation, commissioning or maintenance activities within a technical environment.
• A proactive, adaptable and hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites, supplier locations and OQC facilities to support installations, commissioning and maintenance activities.
