Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to oversee ductwork projects across Dartford and London. You will take projects from initial surveys through to detailed drawings, fabrication and installation, coordinating with the workshop and site teams.

The role requires hands-on technical work, strong ductwork knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple sites across London. Permanent position with a salary up to £65,000 and laptop provided.

Qualifications

• Must have previous ductwork / mechanical ventilation experience.
• Strong understanding of ductwork manufacture, fabrication and installation.
• Site surveying experience.
• Ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

Project Engineer – Ductwork Dartford & London | Up to £65,000 | Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a specialist ductwork contractor based in Dartford, delivering projects across London. Previous ductwork / ventilation experience is essential for this position. This is a hands‑on technical role where you will take projects from initial site survey and measurement through to detailed drawings, manufacture and installation.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• Must have previous ductwork / mechanical ventilation experience.
• Strong understanding of ductwork manufacture, fabrication and installation.
• Site surveying experience.
• AutoCAD experience.
• Ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ideally knowledge of DW144 / DW145.
• Previous Project Engineer, Contracts Engineer, Ductwork Designer, CAD Engineer or senior ductwork experience would be advantageous.
• No specific formal qualification is required if you have the right industry experience.
