Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions in Dartford is seeking an experienced CAD Coordinator with ductwork and Building Services experience to support a growing contractor with projects across London and Surrey.

You'll split time between the Dartford office (3 days) and project sites (2 days). The role offers permanent (£45,000-£55,000 + bonus) or contract (£24-£30 per hour, Outside IR35) options, reflecting a busy, long-term workload starting with a multimillion-pound scheme this autumn.

Qualifications

• Strong CAD experience required.
• Experience with ductwork in building services is essential.
• Background with Building Services / MEP contracting is preferred.
• Good understanding of construction-stage coordination and drawings.
• Active CSCS card is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate ductwork CAD drawings.
• Support Building Services projects through detailed delivery.

We're looking for an experienced CAD Coordinator with a strong ductwork / Building Services background to join a growing contractor with a busy pipeline of projects across London and Surrey.

The business is open to both permanent and contract candidates, so whether you're looking for your next long-term move or a solid Outside IR35 contract, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll spend around 3 days per week in the Dartford office and 2 days on project sites.

What you'll be doing

• Producing and coordinating ductwork CAD drawings
• Supporting Building Services projects through detailed delivery
• Coordinating drawings with wider MEP services
• Working closely with project and site teams
• Resolving drawing and coordination issues
• Supporting projects across London and Surrey

What we're looking for

• Strong CAD experience - essential
• Previous ductwork experience
• Building Services / MEP contractor experience
• Good understanding of construction-stage coordination
• Active CSCS card desirable
• Able to work between Dartford and project sites

Permanent or Contract

• Permanent: £45,000-£55,000 + strong bonus potential
• Contract: £24-£30 per hour, initial 6 months

There's plenty of work ahead, including a multimillion-pound project starting in October and a long-term programme of retail projects. For contractors, there's good potential for work beyond the initial six months, while permanent candidates will be joining a business looking to grow over the coming years.
