Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Starting Salary: £44,657.57 per annum, increasing to £47,417.08 upon gaining full competency

The Role:

Based in Bristol, reporting to the Heavy Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks related to project process deliverables, including production, utilization, and governance.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure adherence to and delivery of tasks as per ATC-1098 Heavy Maintenance Process Document, supporting process improvements.
• Manage shift start/end procedures.
• Create heavy maintenance block cards and work instructions.
• Develop project work breakdown structures (WBS) and production plans.
• Ensure availability and proper use of VMI's, VOI's, ATC work instructions, and project documentation for the production team, resolving material or obsolescence issues in collaboration with project teams.
• Lead toolbox talks and single point lessons throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead daily production meetings with the Team Leader and Material Planner, updating relevant trackers.
• Support the Heavy Maintenance Manager in delivering assigned contracts.

What You Bring:

• City and Guilds/BTEC certificate in Engineering.
• Experience in a heavy maintenance project engineering role.
• Good understanding of traction and rolling stock systems.
• Experience with rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities is advantageous.
• Full and valid driving license.
