Job summary

Galliford Try Group in Warrington is recruiting a Project Engineer to join our Environment Capital Maintenance team. You will deliver Capital Maintenance schemes across Treatment, Waste and Water assets on live sites, coordinating multiple schemes and stakeholders to minimise disruption.

Ideally based in the Warrington area, you will travel across sites and lead on design reviews, pre-construction, and site documentation while mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with QA, H&S and CDM

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Capital Maintenance or minor works programmes in regulated infrastructure.
• Knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts and sustainable development practices.
• Understand current legislation and QA, H&S and CDM requirements.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities; able to manage live schemes.
• Effective communication and ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Project Delivery team, coordinating multi-discipline designers and engineers.
• Manage a portfolio of Capital Maintenance schemes across multi-site operations.
• Plan and deliver works with minimal disruption to live assets.
• Lead on construction stage documentation and obtain permits to mobilise quickly.
• Engage internal resources and sub-contractors through pre-construction to construction.
• Communicate with Client, stakeholders and supply chain to maintain schedules.
• Support cost management and delivery process compliance using CDM and data systems.
