Job summary

Crucial People Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer to operate at a project engineering level and deliver projects on time and within budget in London. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong organisation, and effective communication, with involvement in energy service product development.

You will lead multiple works, prepare technical submittals, wiring schedules, and control system software, while coordinating with installation teams and clients to secure approvals and on-time

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in a customer service facing environment.
• Experience with HVAC products and system integration.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Financial awareness and ability to work with P&L and project costs.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ensure all new works are priced and quoted within agreed company targets.
• Submit customer invoices and applications on time with required information.
• Ensure delivery of works on time and within margin approved at sale.
• Create technical submittals and O&M documentation.
• Create wiring schedules and panel loadings; submit to manufacturers.
• Write software for control systems and internal processes.
• Create graphics and submit to client with amendments until approved.
• Review and adjust drawings from manufacturers; submit for client approval.
• Oversee installation and provide ongoing support to the install team.
• Forecast labour requirements for planning.
• Coordinate with finance to ensure client payments are made.
• Ensure MSRAs reflect current project stage and are shared with client.
• Lead customer escalation issues through to resolution.
