Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer for Fire & Security projects in Mansfield and surrounding areas. You will support Project Managers, own engineering delivery, and oversee engineers and subcontractors across CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarm systems.

The ideal candidate has hands-on project engineering experience in Fire & Security, understands NSI standards, holds an ECS card and a full UK driving licence, and is ready to manage delivery to time, cost

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Engineer in Fire & Security environments.
• Strong knowledge of NSI standards and compliance.
• Ability to manage engineers and subcontractors on multiple projects.
• ECS card and a Full UK Driving Licence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and own engineering delivery across projects.
• Oversee engineers and subcontractors, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure works meet customer, quality and safety requirements and standards.
• Liaise with customers and complete project documentation.

Are you an experienced Project Engineer from a Fire & Security background looking to progress further in your career and take responsibility for delivering projects to the highest standards?

On offer is a position within an established and growing company where you will support Project Managers, take ownership of engineering delivery, and oversee engineers and subcontractors across a range of Fire & Security projects.

This company specialises in Fire & Security solutions and is now looking for an experienced Project Engineer to help deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to a consistently high standard.

The day to day of this role includes supporting Project Managers, engineering installation and upgrade projects, overseeing engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring all works meet customer, quality and safety requirements. You will also be involved with CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarm systems, alongside completing project documentation and liaising with customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on Project Engineering experience within the Fire & Security industry, with a good understanding of NSI standards and experience managing engineers or subcontractors.

The role:

Project Engineer - Fire & Security

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

The person:

• Good knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarm systems
• Experience managing engineers and subcontractors

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
