Job summary

Almac Group in Craigavon seeks a Project Engineer (Automation) to specify, design, develop, install and test control systems to high pharmaceutical standards.

You will ensure automation operates safely and in full cGXP compliance while supporting multiple projects in a regulated manufacturing environment. ELIGIBILITY TO WORK IN THE UK and an engineering qualification such as HND are required.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• HND (or equivalent) in Engineering.
• Experience delivering results in pharma/manufacturing or supporting automation systems.
• Experience with specification, design, installation, and commissioning of automation systems.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Almac Group is currently seeking a Project Engineer (Automation) to join our team based at our Craigavon site.

In this role, you will be responsible for the specification, design, development, installation, testing and administration of control systems to a high industrial and pharmaceutical standard. You will play an important role in ensuring automation systems operate efficiently and safely while maintaining compliance with cGXP requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering or automation professional to work across a variety of automation systems and projects within a pharmaceutical environment.

What you need to be successful

• Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK.
• HND (or equivalent) in Engineering discipline
• Experience in delivering excellent results and projects in the pharmaceutical industry or other manufacturing environment OR Experience of providing support, maintenance, or system administration for existing automation systems
• Experience of specification, design, installation, commissioning of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS etc)
