Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services in London is seeking a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of rail communications projects across London and the South East. You’ll assist with planning, delivery and handover of CCTV, PA and Access Control installations on high-profile rail schemes.

This role offers an excellent path into project management, with exposure to Network Rail, TfL and other infrastructure clients, and a progression into a Project Manager

Qualifications

  • Background in delivering installation and commissioning projects for CCTV, PA, Access Control or Rail Communications systems.
  • Experience within Network Rail, TfL, London Underground beneficial but not essential.
  • Understanding of design, installation, testing and commissioning.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day management and engineering delivery of CCTV, PA and Access Control installations from planning through to commissioning and handover.
  • Support progression into a Project Manager role for the right candidate.
  • Collaborate with senior project managers on rail communications projects across London and the South East.

Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager (APM) – Rail Communications

We are looking for a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of rail communications projects across London and the South East.

Working on projects for Network Rail, TfL and other infrastructure clients, you’ll assist with the day-to-day management and engineering delivery of CCTV, Public Address (PA) and Access Control installations from planning through to commissioning and handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into a project management career, gaining exposure to major rail communications infrastructure programmes while working alongside experienced Project Managers.

Requirements
  • Background in delivering installation and Commissioning projects for CCTV, PA, Access Control or Rail Communications systems
  • Experience within Network Rail, TfL, London Underground beneficial but not essential
