Our client is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer to support real-time production optimization, non-conformance resolution, and root cause analysis for high-impact aerospace manufacturing programs. This role is hands-on, based in Camden, and plays a critical part in driving yield improvement, minimizing waste, and ensuring production continuity across key programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize and resolve non-conformances (repair/scrap decisions) to keep production on track
Support real-time process improvements and yield optimization using DFMEA/PFMEA and risk tools
Provide technical input to support root cause analysis and corrective actions
Collaborate with design and quality teams to manage dispositions and systemic learning
Assist in the design and testing of new tools, processes, and systems
Serve as Engineering Responsible Authority for issue resolution on the production floor
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience in project or manufacturing engineering (or 13+ years without a degree)
Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, and engineering analysis
Strong understanding of propulsion components and manufacturing workflows
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Skills:
Experience with root cause analysis, Six Sigma certification
Background in non-conformance management and material review processes
Familiarity with engineering tools like DFMEA, PFMEA, and MRL standards
Skilled in Microsoft Office, engineering software, and project management tools
