Job DescriptionJob Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer to support real-time production optimization, non-conformance resolution, and root cause analysis for high-impact aerospace manufacturing programs. This role is hands-on, based in Camden, and plays a critical part in driving yield improvement, minimizing waste, and ensuring production continuity across key programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and resolve non-conformances (repair/scrap decisions) to keep production on track

  • Support real-time process improvements and yield optimization using DFMEA/PFMEA and risk tools

  • Provide technical input to support root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Collaborate with design and quality teams to manage dispositions and systemic learning

  • Assist in the design and testing of new tools, processes, and systems

  • Serve as Engineering Responsible Authority for issue resolution on the production floor

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience in project or manufacturing engineering (or 13+ years without a degree)

  • Proficiency in CAD, GD&T, and engineering analysis

  • Strong understanding of propulsion components and manufacturing workflows

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Skills:

  • Experience with root cause analysis, Six Sigma certification

  • Background in non-conformance management and material review processes

  • Familiarity with engineering tools like DFMEA, PFMEA, and MRL standards

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office, engineering software, and project management tools
