Job Description:

What will you be doing?

• Support of the project team and the project manager within a new development project
• Product costings
• Simultaneous Engineering with supplier and internal manufacturing
• Scheduling of tasks to meet milestones according to target baseline
• Coordination of tasks related to different departments within the company (Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Assembly, Testing, etc.)
• Summarising and presenting information for key stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership)
• Preparing project Quality Gates
• Coordinating and planning workshops (e.g., innovation, cost)
• Assist with logistics around supply of prototype parts
• Work on cost reduction tasks which improve the company profit margin on currently released products
• Support ramp-up of new business
• Assist in the development for PEP projects by working with other departments to achieve milestones through continuous support and simultaneous engineering
• Assist in achievement of target costs and requirements
• Drive cost reduction tasks to improve profitability of existing products
• Drive customer projects to completion

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Engineering or similar discipline
• Proven project management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Work experience, ideally within product development projects or other engineering projects
• Strong leadership skills
• Problem solving abilities
