Who are we?

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Warrington, UK. The role involves frequent travel with long stays, without the need to relocate. You will spend approximately one year working on-site in Wales for a key project.

What is the role about?

As a Project Engineer at IPS, you will be responsible for planning and managing a range of work packages and projects, from small improvements to large-scale initiatives. Your role involves collaboration with the Project Team, applying IPS’s project management methodology, and using advanced tools to support our clients.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall schedule, procurement strategy, financial planning.
• Project preparation: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, procurement.
• Project realization: project management, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational management.

Who are you?

• 100% mobility, open to frequent travel and long stays, including an on-site assignment in Wales for about a year, based in Warrington, UK.
• Experience in Project Management or as a Project Engineer.
• Utilities experience is a plus.
• 0 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong construction site experience or interest.
• Knowledge of project realization phases.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks with varying skills and prioritizing effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Languages: English required; French is a plus.
