Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-established engineering company, in their search for a Project Engineer to work across various sites in Europe, starting in Hungary.

For the successful Project Engineer, our client is offering:

• Up to £345 LTD per day
• Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
• Temporary role until September
• Digs, mileage, and food paid for
• 3-4 weeks abroad and a week at home

The Role - Project Engineer:

• Review risk assessments and method statements before works commence.
• Review commissioning documentation before works.
• Analyse detailed electrical and electrical design information to assess the suitability of new connections requested by contractors.
• Monitor works against the approved programme, identifying delays, inspections, and testing issues.
• Manage commissioning activities and other responsibilities.
• Lead and manage project teams.
• Make decisions and focus on strategic planning.
• Manage resources effectively.
• Engage with stakeholders and maintain customer focus.
• Innovate and seek improvements.
• Plan and organize project tasks.
• Experience with NEC Contracts is desirable.

What our client is looking for in a Project Engineer:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electrical Engineering (ESSENTIAL)
• Membership in a professional body such as IET, CIBSE, IMechE (Desirable)
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role (ESSENTIAL)
• NEC3 Supervisor accreditation (Beneficial)
• Willingness to work across Europe (ESSENTIAL)
• JIB Gold or ECS Gold card (Beneficial)
• NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience with automation systems, including PAC systems (ESSENTIAL)
• Knowledge of building services regulations (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience in the industrial sector (ESSENTIAL)
• Previous experience overseeing contractors (ESSENTIAL)
• Experience in project management (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong IT and literacy skills (ESSENTIAL)
