A leading medical technology company in the UK is seeking a Project Engineer to lead capital investment projects in Advanced Wound Management. The role involves supporting engineering projects, collaborating with teams, and a focus on enhancing processes. Candidates should have a degree in engineering or similar, possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, and show willingness to grow into leadership roles. You'll be at the heart of our global Advanced Wound Management (AWM) Project Engineering Team, leading major capital investment projects that introduce new processes and technologies or enhance existing ones to increase profitability of the business. From concept to completion, you'll guide cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver results that matter. You'll be solving complex problems, introducing new technologies and ensuring our operations meet the highest standards.
Supporting the delivery of engineering projects that contribute to strategic transformation, new product introductions and productivity improvements
Assisting in the specification, procurement, installation and validation of new equipment
Collaborating with contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and effectively
Providing engineering support across our global AWM network, learning from experts and growing your technical capabilities
Success in this role means being curious, collaborative and proactive. You'll bring a solid technical foundation and a desire to develop your project management and engineering skills in a supportive, innovative environment.
A degree in engineering, science or equivalent experience.
Experience supporting or managing technical projects, ideally involving capital equipment.
Skills in process validation, change control and project planning tools.
A proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
A willingness to learn, take initiative and perform as, or grow into, a project leader.
