The Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work for a well-established global business to be based at their Ripley site, which is one of four based in the UK. This is to be part of the dedicated projects team, working collaboratively across the leadership team and areas / departments.

Responsibilities:

- Take the lead and drive forward projects from conception through to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) - Initiation of the requirement through planning, execution and project monitoring to ensure a successful completion.
- Support and highlight areas for capital investment.
- Provide technical specification for new equipment / process upgrades.
- Ensure projects align with site asset management and life-cycle strategies.
- Liaise with key players within the project initiation - provide a technical overview, project cost and feasibility study.

The person:

- Hold either electrical or mechanical qualifications - apprenticeship level as a minimum.
- Ideally moved into improvements / project work via a hands-on route.
- Experienced in a manufacturing environment.
- Be able to demonstrate project delivery experience.
- From a pro-active background with a desire to seek out areas of improvement.
- Collaborative approach and enjoys working as part of a team, however you must also be confident with decision making.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to coordinate people and resources effectively.
- Technology confident with the ability to use MS Office CMMS, AutoCAD and project management software.
