A leading energy company is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee construction projects in the UK. Where will you be working?

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This Site Engineer role will be within ourTransmission Networks team, located across the UK.We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable 0delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?
• Mentor and support site engineers
• Report safety incidents and near misses internally and to the client.
• Oversee foremen, line workers, and subcontractors daily.
• Communicate regularly with the client's site representatives and attend meetings.
• Monitor and manage project costs.
• Create/Review method statements, work instructions, and risk assessments.
• Provide necessary information for contract status reports and other client-required reports.
• Document information to support project claims.
• Plan and coordinate labour, equipment, and materials.
• Determine material needs and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability.
• Adhere to OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards and company policies.
• Manage health and safety for staff and sub-contractors on projects.
What you’ll bring;
• Self-motivated with good organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Construction/Health & Safety Regulations(SMSTS/NEBOSH).
• Temporary Works Experience(TWC)
• Site supervision experience on Overhead Line contracts, on steel tower construction at 132kV+.
• Supervision of technical aspects of OHL line construction.
• Experience with foundation construction in Transmission projects and setting out instruments.
• Management of sub-contractors and recording measurement details for financial settlement.
• Experience managing Foremen and Linesworkers.
• Full UK Drivers Licence
