Where will you be working?

At M Group Telecom, we're enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you'll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing?

You'll have excellent co-ordination and clerical skills to support the Project Manager and to enable the team to achieve the project deliverables. You'll be leading teams building racking, ODFs and electrical build and testing. You'll be observing and controlling Health & Safety conditions and ensuring that all staff continue to operate in a safe and effective manner. You will be monitoring all physical installation works ensuring high quality standards. You'll be maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities; resolving problems; reporting change. We'll be wanting you to provide engineering aid to the customer, field resource and project team. You'll be assisting with customer requests of site surveys and RAMS documentation validation. You'll be tracking of equipment and build change processes. Reporting of all on-site activities both internally and externally.


What you'll bring
  • You'll have a electrical engineering background with appropriate AC/DC electrical qualifications and 18th Edition.
  • You'll be Experienced with working optical equipment installation.
  • You'll have the competence to manage a BOM to co-ordinate logistics for on-site installations.
  • The Ability to act flexibly and effectively to change.
  • C&G 2391 or 2394.
  • Safety is our licence to operate! You'll champion health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
