Job description

Job Description

Project Engineer (Electrical)

Covering the Southeast with flexible working

Specialist Engineering Group MEICA

We’re a specialist engineering business delivering high-quality MEICA, power, automation, systems integration, and civil engineering solutions. Part of a larger multi-disciplinary group, we support critical infrastructure.

As part of a major contract, we’re growing and on the lookout for a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The Role:

As a Project Engineer, you'll oversee maintenance, and project works across the Southeast. From smaller maintenance tasks to projects valued up to £1 million, you’ll be involved from cradle to grave—scoping, pricing, reviewing designs, and making sure everything is done right.

You'll be:

  • Reviewing technical drawings and assisting in design
  • Scoping and pricing works
  • Overseeing quality and delivery on-site
  • Liaising with clients and the wider delivery team

This role is ideal for someone practical, grounded, and proactive. We’re less about the letters after your name and more about your common sense, problem-solving ability, and a good attitude.

Development & Team:

We believe in growing our people. Whether you're newly qualified or have years of experience, we’ll support your development with courses and training—because we’d rather build great engineers than just hire CVs.

What You’ll Need:

  • Background in electrical engineering
  • Experience in utilities or infrastructure projects -
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple jobs
  • Full UK driving licence
