Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum + car allowance and benefits

Position: Project Engineer

A leading designer and manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment for the HVAC/BMS industry has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer at their offices in Slough.

Location: Slough, SL1 6JT

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support HVAC/BMS control systems, with experience in Trend BMS/PLC systems.
  • Write software using SET, and manage TCP/IP, BACNET, and Modbus communications.
  • Set up Trend Head End, IQ Vision, and Niagara platform.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking and control panels using EPlan P8.
  • Handle project management tasks, including financial responsibilities for profit and loss.
  • Occasionally assist with on-site commissioning and attend project meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Additional Electrical Skills (Advantageous):

  • Electrical knowledge of 400V systems, motor control techniques, and IEC standards for control panels.
  • Experience with motor control centers and control panel design.
  • Experience from the process industry with PLC controls, panel design, and network communication standards like Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU, Profibus.

This role may suit a commissioning engineer looking to progress into project engineering or a junior engineer. Applications from candidates with relevant experience are encouraged.
