Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading gas-sector organisation to recruit a Project Engineer to support the delivery of technically complex gas infrastructure projects across the UK.

This hands-on role covers the full project lifecycle—from feasibility and design through to installation, commissioning and handover, reporting to the Head of Engineering. You’ll ensure safety, compliance and commercial delivery.

Qualifications

• Background in project engineering within gas, oil & gas, LPG or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of gas flow systems and associated technologies.
• Proficient with CAD, MS Project and engineering software.
• Confident communicator with strong reporting skills.
• Willing to travel nationally with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end gas infrastructure projects, including installations.
• Manage project plans, budgets and programmes.
• Produce and review engineering designs, calculations and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK gas standards, safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee site installation, commissioning and testing activities.
• Provide technical input to bids, proposals and stakeholder reporting.

We’re partnering with a leading organisation in the gas sector to recruit a Project Engineer to support the delivery of technically complex gas infrastructure projects across the UK.

This is a hands‑on role offering full project lifecycle exposure — from feasibility and design through to installation, commissioning and handover. Reporting into the Head of Engineering, you’ll play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly and commercially.

The role

• Deliver end-to-end gas infrastructure projects, including installations
• Manage project plans, budgets and programmes
• Produce and review engineering designs, calculations and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with UK gas standards, safety legislation and regulatory requirements
