Our plant in Sheffield is the home of brands such as Maynards , Trebor, Bassetts amongst others. We are looking for a proven Project Engineer. This is a key role in planning, developing and executing capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz Internati onal business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz International standards are adhered to.
The role is responsible for assigned capital projects in accordance with the plants Compelling Business Need (CBN) including safety, service, budget, productivity and growth targets.
How you will contribute
Project development and execution through application of the Innovation Initiative Management (IIM) Early Management pillar - Commissioning, Qualification, Verification (CQV) process and in parallel ensure
Compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements. Develop and execute capital projects that will enable growth, innovation and efficiency and promote the roll out of a high performance
Work environment Creation of flexibility and capability with focus on zero losses and 100% engagement
Bring new ideas and possibilities, involved/co-lead new equipment and/or process development
Ensure effective communication, clear commitments/ guidance and team training/development through each stage of projects.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
Extensive engineering experience, preferably in Food and Beverage manufacturing or Pharmaceuticals, however we would consider experience across infrastructure, packaging projects and facilities engineering.
Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
Experience in Lean 6 Sigma is preferred, but not essential.
