Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Selby, North Yorkshire, on a permanent basis.

Role Overview

You will support the growth of the manufacturing facility by managing onsite projects from inception to completion, reporting to the Project Supervisor. The role requires a motivated technical engineer with project management experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the full project lifecycle from design to delivery, including training and handover.
2. Coordinate with consultants, vendors, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
3. Manage site-related project issues, facilitate meetings, and build stakeholder relationships.
4. Manage and update plant and process drawings.
5. Survey site conditions and produce accurate design drawings.
6. Identify solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability of equipment and processes.
7. Assist with general duties on a busy production site.
8. Contribute to site SHE objectives.
9. Perform other duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Chemical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D and 3D; experience with Inventor is advantageous.
• Experience with process pipework.
• Strong management of drawing revisions.
• Experience managing multiple projects in manufacturing environments.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a hands-on approach.
