Job description

I am looking for a Project Engineer to join my client, a leading provider of maintenance and engineering solutions in Aberdeen. The successful Project Engineer will play a key role supporting offshore operations, maintenance, and refurbishment. This role will predominantly be based in Aberdeen with travel to offshore sites.


Package

£35,000 - £45,000 Dependent on Experience

25 Days Holiday Plus Bank Holidays

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide engineering support for offshore repairs, refurbishment, and maintenance.
  2. Manage assigned projects, ensuring compliance with internal processes and policies.
  3. Support mechanical equipment projects, including spare parts sourcing and refurbishment planning.
  4. Conduct engineering design work.
  5. Prepare detailed work packs for offshore/on-site execution.
  6. Carry out lifting studies and site surveys both offshore and onshore.

Requirements:
  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (HND/HNC considered).
  2. Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
  3. Experience interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and manuals.
  4. Familiarity with HSEQ requirements in offshore environments.
