Job summary

Une entreprise leader dans l'industrie pétrochimique recherche un Ingénieur Projet pour rejoindre leur équipe axée sur la sécurité et la conformité. Le candidat idéal aura une expérience dans les environnements de projet pétrochimiques, en gérant des projets de développement CAPEX et M&R. Les responsabilités incluent des études de faisabilité, des documents techniques, et la gestion de la conformité aux réglementations. Vous ferez partie d'une équipe engagée pour mener des projets innovants tout en respectant les normes de sécurité strictes.

Qualifications

• Accréditation externe en méthodologie de gestion de projet reconnue (PMP, Prince2).
• Expérience dans les équipes de projet dans des industries de processus, chimiques ou pétrochimiques, en particulier sur des sites COMAH.
• Connaissance des réglementations CDM.

Responsibilities

• Assister le chef de projet dans les aspects techniques du développement et de la livraison des projets.
• Conduire des études de faisabilité, évaluations des risques et analyses des dangers.
• Supporter la gestion des projets en tenant compte de la sécurité et de la qualité.

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with fuel storage or Oil and Gas project background?

Our client, with 4 strategically located terminals in the UK, is now seeking a talented individual to join their project team in Tee-side.

You will play a key role in delivering projects within the petrochemical industry, ensuring safety, compliance, and innovation throughout the project lifecycle.

Location: Tees Valley

The Role:

As a key member of the project team, you will assist the Project Manager in the technical aspects of Sustaining (M&R) and Growth CAPEX project development and delivery. Responsible for managing the projects assigned to you by the Project Manager, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality, ensuring the successful delivery of projects that meet agreed objectives and key results.

• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and process hazard analysis studies.
• Support the project manager in assembling cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop technical documentation e.g. Basis of Designs and Scope of Works for RFP
• Co-ordinate Subject Matter Expert reviews of technical documentation produced in house and by design houses/consultants.
• Manage project technical queries and holds lists.
• Develop pre-commissioning and commissioning plans.
• Support the project manager in organising project reviews, e.g. design, constructability and Human Factors/ Ergonomics
• Ensure all projects comply with, UK safety and environmental regulations (e.g. COMAH/CDM), planning regulations and industry best practise.
• Support the project manager in closing out MOC/LOPA/HAZOP actions and punchlist items.
• Manage engineering projects as required by the business including the production of design calculations, drawings, specifications, programmes and budgets, procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Responsible for allocated CAPEX project budgets assigned to manage
• Provide input as required to various audits carried out.
• Provide assistance to emergency response as detailed in the emergency plan.

Requirements:

• External accreditation in a recognised project management methodology, such as PMP or Prince2.
• Experience working within project teams in process, chemical, or petrochemical industries, particularly on COMAH sites.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with CDM Regulations.
