A Snapshot of your day

As a Project Engineer, you will define, support, and drive project/work packages for the assigned Design Engineers on all equipment design and specifications. You will collaborate with the Technical Lead Engineer and Procurement Officer on subcontractor & supplier packages, managing them through delivery up to handover.

Your profile

We seek someone with Project Engineering experience in the Transmission & Distribution Industry. Knowledge of Transmission & Distribution standards, technologies, Substation Primary & Secondary Systems, Health & Safety, Environmental Regulations, and Risk Management is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, initiative, and proactivity are required.

Your responsibilities

• Support and manage project/work packages, working with the Technical Lead Engineer, Procurement Officer, and Project Manager.
• Ensure technical, procurement, and quality information is available for factory acceptance tests, attend tests, and evaluate supplier performance.
• Identify and raise risks, variations, and opportunities; collaborate with the Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing Monthly Progress Reports, communicate procurement information, and coordinate with site personnel and commissioning engineers.
• Participate in customer meetings, address technical queries, issues, and design risks.
