Job Title: Project Engineer
At Quest Global, we are looking for a Project Engineer to join one of our Oil and Gas customer project teams based at two different locations: Fawley, Hampshire, and Fife, Cowdenbeath, United Kingdom.

Job Requirements
- Serve as the primary interface for site-based projects between the Client site and Quest Global (India Engineering team).
- Gather site information, field inputs, and site clarifications to ensure smooth and seamless engineering delivery.
- Coordinate with site stakeholders and local vendors as needed.
- Liaise with the Client design lead for any emerging project scenarios.
- Plan and execute work related to an assigned brownfield project scope, customized based on project structure, geographic distribution, and needs.
- Participate in project phases from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
- Contribute to early concept selection, project screening, and development planning.
- Manage safety, cost, schedule, quality, and operability for the assigned project scope; contract ownership may be delegated.
- Oversee contractor performance, engage stakeholders, and coordinate with discipline engineers and global experts to meet project objectives.
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Complete assigned work scope in line with project objectives.
- Oversee FEED engineering, procurement, and execution planning through to project completion and start-up.
- Identify, source, and manage long-lead equipment.
- Develop and review Project Management System deliverables.
- Identify and resolve project issues.
- Ensure smooth transitions between project stages and stakeholders.
Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in petrochemical, refining, or similar process industries.
- Knowledge of industry design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria.
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, and technical judgment skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
