The role involves supporting the project manager on site-wide projects and budget control, with weekend duty engineer rotations.

The Role:

The main objective for the Project Engineer is to complete projects on time, to the correct specification and to budget.

Job Duties:

• Lead Mechanical engineering projects
• Develop engineering projects with key site stakeholders
• Assist the project manager in the site wide projects and budget control

Responsibilities (e.g. KPI’s, budget, assignments):

• Safe and controlled project management of set projects
• Able to lead a project with urgency when required to achieve deadlines
• Perform duty engineer for set weekend periods (1 in 10)

RELATIONSHIPS (i.e. who they interact with and nature of relationship):

• Project Manager
• Engineering Manager
• Engineering team
• Operation leadership

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Project Engineering background
• Managing CAPEX equipment
• Minimum HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent experience which demonstrates capability
• 5 years of experiences working in a Technical or Engineering Role
• Ability to self-drive projects
