Project Engineer

Connect Appointments are working with our major engineering client, who are renowned for giving outstanding service to their customers, while also delivering high value and quality engineering projects.

We have new opportunities for experienced Project Engineers with 2 to 3 years of industry experience to work within the Electrical and Mechanical Division, based on-site in Livingston. The successful candidate will have worked with dangerous substances and explosive areas regulations (DSEAR), however this is not essential. We can consider Project Engineers who hold/have held COMEX 1-4 clearance.

What's on offer:

1. Competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
2. £4k car allowance
3. Company pension
4. 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Working as a Project Engineer:

1. Writing detailed and accurate risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
2. Undertaking site surveys, taking measurements, clarifying operational queries
3. Resolving technical and logistical issues
4. Driving and leading procurement of materials through creation and review of bill of materials
5. Attending client meetings and regularly reporting progress of works
