Project Engineer

£45.00p/h – £50.00p/h (Outside IR35 – Ltd Co.)
Initial 6-month contract – High likelihood of extension

Process / Mechanical / SolidWorks / AutoCAD

I am currently working with a key client who are specialists in the design, installation, and management of engineering projects across manufacturing. Due to an increasing workload, they are looking for a Project Engineer on an initial 6-month contract.

For the position of Project Engineer, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

• Producing/modifying technical drawings using SolidWorks / AutoCAD
• Conducting site surveys and creating technical scopes
• Overseeing layout and design of steel platforms, pipework, conveyors and associated food process equipment
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and internal employees
• Coordinating manpower and ensuring all RAMS, safety standards, and documentation are in place

The successful Project Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• In-depth experience in the food processing or manufacturing sector
• Strong understanding of fabrication and mechanical installation processes
• Proven experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD for design and detailing
• Full lifecycle project delivery experience, from survey to sign-off
