Responsibilities
- Provide project engineering support on rail projects and act as a key member of the Rail team.
- Organise and coordinate various engineering disciplines to review design processes.
- Work under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer and carry out tasks with limited support.
- Maintain excellent client relationships and QA of engineering deliverables (drawings and reports).
- Respond to Technical Queries and Requests for Information, and manage risks and engineering interfaces.
- Engage with rail standards such as Network Rail and/or Transport for London.
- Demonstrate commercial experience in either engineering design or construction.
Qualifications
- Essential: Proven experience in stakeholder management;
- Ability to organise and coordinate various engineering disciplines to review design processes;
- Ability to work under the supervision of a Senior Project Engineer and carry out tasks with limited support;
- Ability to maintain excellent client relationships;
- Proven experience working with Rail Standards such as Network Rail and/or Transport for London;
- Proven experience in quality control of engineering deliverables including drawings and reports;
- Experience in dealing with Technical Queries and RFIs;
- Experience in Risk Management;
- Experience in managing engineering interfaces;
- Proven commercial experience in either engineering design or construction.
- Desirable: Incorporated membership with the Institution of Civil Engineers or similar;
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary designs (civils, electrical and communications);
- Experience in working on site can be an advantage.
